The first point should try to use high temperature graphitized carburizer, such as graphite electrode or graphitized oil coke. Due to the good performance of the carburizer, high absorption rate and fast dissolution rate, it is conducive to reducing energy consumption, effectively increasing the nucleation core of the liquid iron and improving the metallurgical quality.
The second point is to choose a carburizer with low impurity content such as sulfur and nitrogen. The sulfur content of the carburizer is high, the nitrogen content is also high, the nitrogen slot is often higher than the hot metal, the balance concentration of liquid nitrogen content of gray iron is higher, the ductile iron molten iron is easy to produce shrinkage defects in the thick wall part, and the impurities in the casting slag tend to increase.
